Where to upload my mp3s?

Is this hell? I tried my server (roadrunner), I tried geocities, and a whole bunch more... some didn't work, I uploaded the file and when I tried to download it, it comes as a text file Then I uploaded to geocities, tested and it worked, but 20 minutes later... it was gone... are they blocking mp3 files?! Where do you guys post your mp3 with exeption of mp3.com?

I use Geocities works great, but one lesson I learned is you must put the "mp3" extension on your file before uploading, otherwise the Browser wont understand what file format you are sending. Hope this helps.

Jeronimo: did you get the mp3 link up and running again. It worked fine for a while. And was so simple (LINK) I would like to do the same thing with some of my work but don't know where to start. I don't have a web site nor do I have an account with Geocites, maybe I don't need that? If you or anyone else can give me some tips, that would be great. Gar

gargoyle, the deal is... I had around 5 different Geocities accounts from my old band's website, but for some reason when I took all the old stuff that was loaded on my geocities accounts and uploaded my new file... they are closing my accounts... they say I broke some rule of Geocites, but they didn't tell me what rule ! So, I couldn't really make it work... but I'm still looking for a solution... If you need any help, e-mail me at !
